Certificate in Sharia’h Compliant Trade and Financing

Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute of Islamic Banking, Finance & Takaful in collaboration with Al-Nasay Solutions organized the LAUNCHING CEREMONY of course “Certificate in Sharia’h Compliant Trade and Financing” on Saturday 11th November 2023 at Karachi Club Annexe in which banking industry and senior officials of State Bank of Pakistan and Head of Islamic Banking Department of various banks and Head of Trade Finance Department and Teachers of Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute participated. All the participants and speakers appreciated this initiative of Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute and called it an important and positive step towards the implementation of the decision of the Federal Shariat Court to convert the banking system into an interest-free system.

Speakers include Sheikh Shabbir Hasan Maisami, (Founder & Chairman, Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute and Member Shariah Advisory Committee, SBP), Mr. Mughees Shaukat (Vice Chairman AEB, AAOIFI), Mufti Irshad Ahmad Ejaz (Chairman, Shariah Advisory Committee, SBP). Senior Officials of SBP and Mr. Akram Zaki (Ex-Senior Joint Director, FEOD-SBP) also emphasized the usefulness of training in Trade Finance and such courses and appreciated the efforts of Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute. Mr. Mughees Shaukat emphasized on conducting such courses in the banking industry for training and professional development in conducting trade financing in Shariah compliant manners.
