Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute of Islamic Banking, Finance and Takaful has signed a Memorandumof understanding (MoU) with the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance (IAIF)

In the MoU signing ceremony, Ayatollah Sheikh Shabbir Hassan Maisami, Member of Shariah Advisory Committee at State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and Founder and Chairman at Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute of Islamic Banking, Finance and Takaful, Molana Syed Mazhar Abbas Zaidi, Executive Committee Member at Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute and Mr. Amir Yousefi Moghadam, Secretary General at Iranian Association of Islamic Finance (IAIF), Mr. Alireza Kamandi, Secretary, International Affairs at IAIF were present.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Amir Yousefi discussed the history and measures of the Association in the field of promoting Islamic finance and holding MBA and DBA courses in the Islamic capital market, then Mr. Alireza pointed the international activities of IAIF.

After that Ayatollah Sheikh Shabbir Hassan Maisami provided an overview of Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute’s activities aimed at fostering awareness among masses and professional bankers regarding the Islamic Financial system. These efforts involve comprehensive training, research endeavors, seminars, workshops, and conferences and accredited courses all focused on Islamic Banking, Finance, and Takaful.

By this MoU, Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute and the IAIF agreed to hold joint Islamic finance programs, courses, webinars and workshops for the capacity building in the field of Islamic finance. Both the institutes agreed in conducting joint research projects and studies related to Islamic Economics and Finance.

The purpose of this collaboration is to enhance and advance the Islamic Economics System by promoting professional development opportunities for practitioners.
