In the MoU signing ceremony, Ayatollah Sheikh Shabbir Hassan Maisami, Founder and Chairman at Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute of Islamic Banking, Finance & Takaful and Member of Shari’ah Board at Salaam Takaful Limited, Molana Syed Mazhar Abbas Zaidi, Executive Committee Member at Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute and Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Asgari, Director General at Iranian Insurance Research Center (IRC) and Senior Managers of IRC were in attendance. The MoU was executed at the IRC Head office in Tehran, Iran.
By this MoU, Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute and the IRC agreed to hold joint Takaful programs, courses, webinars and workshops for the capacity building in the field of Islamic Economics. Both the institutes agreed in conducting joint research projects and studies related to Takaful.
