7th World Islamic Economics and Finance

Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute of Islamic Banking, Finance & Takaful had the privilege of being the Platinum Sponsor at the 7th World Islamic Economics and Finance Conference (WIEFC 2024), hosted by Minhaj University Lahore, Pakistan. WIEFC 2024 provided a pivotal platform for scholars, practitioners, and businesses to delve into the transformative power of Islamic finance in addressing global challenges and fostering meaningful societal change. The conference theme, “From Practice to Impact: Aligning Islamic Economics and Finance in Light of Global Developments and Challenges,” set the stage for insightful discussions and collaborative initiatives.

Highlights of the event included 4 panel discussions, 6 technical sessions, 12 keynote speeches, and 41 paper presentations, featuring contributions from 33 esteemed national and international speakers. With the support of 15 collaborators and sponsors, including Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute, WIEFC 2024 facilitated enriching dialogue and knowledge sharing.

Moreover, the conference’s success was further amplified by 4 pre-conference workshops, setting the tone for an engaging and informative gathering. With over 1500+ attendees physically present, WIEFC 2024 truly embodied the spirit of collaboration and innovation in the realm of Islamic economics and finance.
